Our highly anticipated weekend away in the mountains with our sunday school class finally came! It was a great weekend. Let's just say none of us wanted to come back home.

We stopped on the side of the road for a picture and to
sample the "buffet" at a country bumpkin diner.
2 1/2 hours through the beautiful hills and we finally arrived...
It was a beautifully furnished cabin surrounded by a quiet hillside.
We spent the weekend relaxing and doing different activities, such as...
Rocking and talking
sitting by the campfire and roasting marshmallows
Soaking it up in the hot tub
Playing games and reading magazines
Eating was a big one!

It was a truly relaxing weekend of connecting with friends,
spouses and the Lord. We are blessed!

Her birthday is technically in three days but why not celebrate early?
From the start she was always one that marched to the beat of a different drum.
She is true to herself and that's what we love about her! She is so many things and more, she's my sista!
She has a great smile!
