Some days are better than the other for me. Somedays I don't mind the messiness and dirt at all. Then there are days were I notice the most insignificant thing and turn the situation into, "It's the end of the world as we know it!" Not some of my greatest moments, I can tell you that. But because of my patient and comforting husband, I am able to plow on!
We can't help but see not only the physical lessons and journeys but the spiritual ones as well.
We are so dirty and broken, yet the Lord's love for us is so great and so beyond our comprehension. He sees the true potential in us. Just as we have big plans to fix our house, we know the Lord will do the same with our attitudes, minds and relationship. There will be much "pruning of the branches."
We need to keep our eyes on that potential admits the leaks and brokenness.

Soooo, now that I'm off my soapbox we have some progress to share!....
Ahh, the hard and tedious job of redoing electric. Dustin and the help of
his cousin, have made amazing progress! And now we have some recessed lights that work.
Oh how I've taken for granted the flip of a switch!
Our new lights!!
I know - the wall paint is awful.
Another demolition day!
We took out the wall between our future master bedroom
and a smaller room next to it.
The wall soon to be taken out.
