My good friend Ashley got married recently and I was so happy to be apart of her day. Ashley looked so beautiful and sooo happy with her new husband.
The reception was an absolute blasts! My feet can attest to that. I got to dance the night away and hook up with old high school friends I hadn't seen in a while. Needless to say I caught some rare moments on film out on the dance floor.... my old next door neighbor, Mrs. Zurbrick even show us some moves of her own!

The happy bride and groom
No, you're not seeing things. This is an actual Amish lady out on the dance floor.
She was so cute. She would just smile and do her little hop-skip dance on the floor.
At one point, we saw her with two margaritas in her hand! haha! Livin' it up!
Too Cute
Ok... folks, brace yourselves. Older people dancing!
You can tell people just don't care what they look like anymore. It's great!
If you see a guy in a green vest prancing around that would be the groom.
Boogie down!

I love working with kids and this past week I had the pleasure of helping out for Vacation Bible School. Alyssa Breneman and I took pictures and video of all the kids for the spotlight drama that was put on every night. We also captured their whole week of VBS for them to see on the last night. You could tell the kids had a blast! .....as well as the adults!

Ahh, the beach. It represents the very essence of summer. My girlfriends and I had the opportunity to get away with each other for a weekend and spend some quality time together. We stayed at the Impala Hotel. Did you know that an Impala is some type of deer? Anyway, we had a great time hanging out on the beach, enjoying the beautiful weather and taking "photo shoots" with our photographer. :) As much as I didn't want the fun weekend to end, I was ready to come home to my hubby.

On June 22, 2008, what a great day to remember. I was baptized for the first time!
These past two years have been amazing as far as change and new journeys in my life. My first real date, marrying my first date, a new home, a new job, a new Church and to top it off a new niece.
I've been attending my Husbands church, Willow Street Mennonite for some time and I decided to become a member as well as get baptized for the first time. What better time then now to symbolize the "new" person that I have been and still am in Christ. Needless to say I was welcomed with open arms at Willow Street and my whole family was there to watch and support me in my decision. My biggest support was my husband, who without a doubt, got in the pool with his church clothes to help be apart of baptizing me. He's swell. :)
The original baptism was to take place at Pastor Garber's Pond. However there was a "moss" problem that had arised.... I'm glad we used a pool. The weatherman was calling for showers and thunderstorms but as you can see the Lord wanted it to be a brighter day!
Here we go!
Waiting to be dunked!
Loving that everyone is starring at me
I was debating whether I should hold my nose or
not but then I though... I'm 24. Sometime if you go
back in the water too far it shoots up your
nose in an unpleasant, stingy way!
