Last Saturday, I had the privilege of going to a beautiful wedding. The bride and groom both being my friends. The bride looked like she walked out of a fairy tale! I also had the priviledge of creating the invitations and programs for their special event. It seems like yesterday we were sitting at Starbucks back in March coming up with the design. Having a great eye of her own made the process even more fun.. she was so great to work with.
Two friends congratulating the groom's brothers...
Our good friends the Herr's.
Our youth pastor (groom's brother) and his wife sporting one of the bridesmaids dresses accented
nicely by the green bouquet. (Also the colors used in the invitations and programs)
Off to the brand new convention center for the reception...

The groom's mother along with her talented niece, (the wedding coordinator)
Both women full of life and always ready for a good laugh!

My husband worked all morning at the house sanding, covered head to toe in dust.
He cleans up nicely don't you think? :)
My long lost friend from Texas! Personally, this was a thrill for me. For 20 years, I grew up in a tiny old church all the way over in New Holland with this girl. Although we didn't go to the same school, and have gone our separate ways since college, she has always remained a faithful friend to me. The last time I had seen her was 3 years ago at her beautiful wedding. Reuniting for 10 minutes was not enough time to catch up but it felt like we picked up right where we left off. As quick as it was, I was so thankful to see that smile of hers in person!

When you're looking for a good laugh, leave it up to the Herr boys to make it happen.

Always looking for a good time...
Catching up with my good friend, the groom's cousin.
It was a fun evening!
