Our latest project has been our downstairs bathroom. It's amazing and sometimes stressful how the Lord works. The stress is most likely due to my lack of faith... and the fear that one day we might be forced to be at a stand still. No progression?! Forced to be patient?! What? That wasn't in the plan! :) But that's a whooole other issue between me and the Lord. haha.
Our goal? To get the majority of the house (inside) finished this year. The dilemma? How do we afford it with little work? Well, the Lord's got it under control right? Right. He just recently blessed us and allowed us to make the needed changes to our bathroom that we didn't think we'd be able to do for quite awhile. Praise God! Once again, a reminder that He will take care of us even when it doesn't make sense. Hope you enjoy the progression as much as I have...
Looks can be deceiving. It's sitting there looking all innocent and semi clean. But there are problems that lay beneath and all around it. You're not able to see the knobs but for the past year or so we've had to use a wrench to turn the cold water knob because it had broken off.
The wall and the floor needed to be ripped out as well as the tub, due to water damage from a former leak upstairs. (That leak has been fixed.)

Dustin is doing a great job. He has stopped at this point because
he is currently working a full week of work. Whoopie!

gaaaa!!! looks like fun! i would actually love to be remodeling something...why?? i'll tell you:
1. i love spending money (when i have it:-)
2. i like making things look pretty.
3. contrary to popular belief, i like to work hard and see awesome results of my time and energy!
so, i guess what i'm saying is: if you ever need some free labor (i only ask that you feed me:-) give me a call...:-)
