Seek the Kingdom of God above all else!

Hello friends.

Dustin and I are doing well and keeping warm. This past year has been rough not having as much work as Dustin would have liked, but it's also been a blessing in disguise when it comes to giving time and energy to our home. The Lord constantly reminds us He is the only thing that will truly sustain us. Jesus has promised to care for us every day. And that includes tomorrow. So we can live by faith one day at a time. Easier said than done, yes. But we're sticking to that promise cause it's all we've got!

Matthew 6:33-34 "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today."

So in the mean time, we're having fun, enjoying the snow, staying warm and starting new projects. Dustin has taken up a new interest....

Chopping wood!

I don't get it, must be a man thing.

He also has been a big help in the kitchen during the work week.
Cooking dinner!! ...and baking cookies?!?!? No lie... (in the container below)
I could get used to this. :)

Enjoying our recent snow storm

Since we were snowed in for a couple of days we decided to prime one of the upstairs bedrooms that hasn't really been touched yet. This was our "master bedroom" when we first moved in. We call it the camouflage room.

no more camouflage. It already makes the room look 10 times happier.

Dustin's main project is working on the downstairs bathroom. It doesn't look too bad in the photos but this room is rough! More pictures to come in the future..

Bye!

  1. What a sweet post! What a way to share God's amazing love and provisions with the blogging world. It inspired me and made me so thankful for the two of you. Your faith is evident in your words, and despite the disappointments, you keep looking up. And, using the artistic talents you both have been blessed with. Thanks for sharing your heart.
